Open settings with Mod+,.

Reading

• Auto-mark as read — mark articles read after a delay (Instantly, 1s, 3s, 5s).
• Mark read on scroll — mark read when you reach the bottom.
• Hide read articles — show only unread items in the list.
• Default reader format — Titles / Teaser / Full.
• Open links in — Reader pane (default) or system browser.

Feeds & sync

• Refresh interval — 15 min, 30 min, 1 hr, 4 hr, or Manual.
• Refresh on launch — fetch new articles when Feaster opens.
• Refresh on network reconnect — fetch when the network comes back.
• Articles to keep — 100, 500, 2,000, or All.
• Notification on new articles — desktop badge / notification.

Knowledge Base

• Prompt save on finish — suggest saving when you reach the bottom of an article.
• Default excerpt — First paragraph, Teaser, or None.
• Require note when saving — disable the Save button until a note exists. Default off.
• Suggest tags — autocomplete from recent tags and feed defaults.

Appearance

• Reading font — Newsreader, Iowan Old Style, Georgia, Literata.
• Interface font — IBM Plex Sans, System UI, Söhne.
• Reading size — S (16px), M (18px), L (20px), XL (22px).
• Theme — Paper, Sepia, Dark, Auto.
• Accent color — Terracotta, Olive, Ink Blue, Plum, Bronze.

Data & Privacy

• Anonymous telemetry — opt-in, default off.
• Import OPML — bulk import feed subscriptions.
• Export Knowledge Base — Markdown (one file per entry) or JSON.
• Erase all data — confirmation-gated. Resets to empty state.
